Under the patronage of Lebanese Army Commander General Joseph Aoun, represented by Brigadier General Maroun Qabbiat, the grand opening of the Youth Center in Labaa took place. The event was organized jointly by the Labaa Municipality, the Development Association for Humanity and the Environment (DPNA), and the Youth Empowerment Project 2, funded by the European Union and its Youth Committee in Sidon. The event saw the presence of dignitaries, including Members of Parliament, representatives from various organizations, and local community leaders. The center is a testament to collaborative efforts aimed at fostering youth development, community growth, and positive change in the region.
LDRS Chairman Dr. Abdulwahed Chehab, who is also the President of the Development Association for Humanity and the Environment, gave a keynote speech, and emphasized the organization's commitment to working for the betterment of the community.
The center represents the vision of a brighter future for the region and a commitment to excellence. It aims to provide a platform for youth to develop their skills, foster innovation, and drive positive change. Thanks to the support and contributions from various partners, this project signifies the beginning of a promising journey towards empowering youth and creating a hub for creativity, innovation, and progress.

Inauguration of the Quarantina Government Hospital
The new building of the Beirut Governmental University Hospital - Quarantina, was inaugurated by UNICEF and the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, following the completion of the construction and renovation works, in response to the damages caused by the Beirut port explosion.
LDRS has relocated it’s Beirut office. The new office space is located in Dora, Beirut; facing the Maserati Showroom. The 1,500 SQM space spans across 2 floors. The first floor hosts a generous open workspace environment featuring all the departments, reception, cafeteria, outdoor terrace, recreational spaces, library, presentation stage, printing hall, workshop, meeting hall, and all auxiliary functions related to productivity. The second floor hosts the private offices, lounge, and conference rooms for the management and clients.

DGS Training Center: Construction Complete for Phase 1
Campus construction commences for the Directorate of General Security Academy for Training, Education, and Cybersecurity. After an extensive effort in design and supervision during the two years of the COVID pandemic, LDRS is pleased to announce the completion of phase 1 and opening of the 1st building. We extend our thanks to the DGS for their trust in our work, the people of Japan’s generosity, and the support of IOM for making the construction of the first phase possible.
